Filmmaker and painter Adana Mam Legros believes art serves as a therapeutic tool and pathway for self-exploration—for both creator and audience. Carl Jung's process of individuation is a lifelong psychological journey toward wholeness, where one integrates the conscious ego with unconscious elements like the shadow (repressed traits), anima/animus (inner contrasexual aspects), and ultimately the Self—the unifying center of the psyche. She weaves this analytical process into her practice to decode the unconscious through her paintings, fostering deep reflection and a return to the authentic self. Teaming up with talented director Mathieu Lam, they conduct insightful interviews with Cambodian artists. The video spotlights Cambodia's young artists, delving deeper into their relationship with art and personal identity.
